About this plugin

The plugin connects Claude Code to the macOS Messages app. It reads message history, searches chat.db, detects new messages, surfaces inbound image paths, and sends replies through AppleScript. It does not require an external server or background process.

Use it when you want to interact with Claude Code through iMessage. It requires macOS, Full Disk Access for the terminal or launching app, and Automation permission to control Messages. Start Claude Code with the iMessage channel enabled, then use /imessage:access to manage pairing, allowlists, and messaging policy. Self-messages are enabled by default; other senders are blocked until allowed.
