About this skill

What it does. Guides a JTBD analysis by defining the customer, situation and current alternatives, then organising jobs, pains and gains. It helps prioritise needs and distinguish customer goals from product features, using research rather than assumptions.

When to use it. For discovery, product positioning, roadmap priorities or competitive analysis when customer motivations are unclear. It is not intended for trivial features or as a substitute for quantitative validation.
