About this plugin
The plugin connects Claude to Westlaw Deep Research for CoCounsel Legal subscribers. It researches questions across U.S. federal and state case law, statutes, regulations, administrative materials, Practical Law, secondary sources and current awareness content, then returns reports with inline citations and links to Westlaw and Practical Law sources.
Reach for it when you need current legal authority on how courts have treated an issue, the elements or defences of a claim, or competing arguments on an unsettled question. Research can cover up to three U.S. jurisdictions at once, and you can retrieve completed reports or ask follow-up questions in the same conversation. It is not intended for document retrieval, legal drafting, fact-specific advice, calculations or non-U.S. law. A CoCounsel Legal subscription is required.
