About this plugin
This plugin connects an AI agent to Google Cloud SQL for SQL Server through the prebuilt cloud-sql-mssql MCP server. It supports natural-language database management, query execution, schema exploration, troubleshooting and code generation based on table schemas.
Use it when you want to work with a Cloud SQL for SQL Server instance without switching between your agent and database tools. It requires Node.js, a Google Cloud project with the Cloud SQL Admin API enabled, Application Default Credentials, the required IAM permissions, and configuration for the project, region, instance, database and database credentials. The extension is currently in beta.
