About this plugin
This plugin adds an MCP connection for interacting with Google Cloud SQL for MySQL instances through natural-language prompts. It can help explore schemas, run queries, manage database resources and troubleshoot issues from within a compatible AI coding agent.
You need Node.js so the server can run through npx, a Google Cloud project with the Cloud SQL Admin API enabled, Application Default Credentials and suitable Cloud SQL IAM permissions. Configure the project, region, instance and database with environment variables, and optionally provide database credentials. The plugin is currently in beta.
