About this skill
What it does. Interviews stakeholders, selects an appropriate build depth, and compares candidate KPI trees before decomposing the chosen design with explicit arithmetic. It assigns one owner and paired guardrail to each branch, maps metrics to review altitudes and cadences, applies stage and business-model gates, and produces tree, ownership, guardrail, gating and definition artifacts.
When to use it. For designing a revenue metric hierarchy, North Star, driver tree or KPI framework. It does not build dashboards, write SQL, draft board reports or establish metric governance itself.
