About this skill
What it does. Defines long-running Node.js HTTP functions in neon.ts, runs them locally with neon dev, and deploys or manages them with the Neon CLI. Functions receive branch-scoped environment variables, connect to Postgres, and support APIs, streaming, WebSockets, webhooks and cron or storage triggers.
When to use it. For backend workloads that need to run beside a Neon branch database or exceed short serverless limits. It is not intended for static sites or projects outside the currently supported Neon regions.
