About this skill
What it does. Guides a bug investigation through reproduction, code localisation, one hypothesis at a time, and evidence-based testing. It applies a targeted fix, reruns the reproduction and surrounding tests, and recommends adding a regression test.
When to use it. For unexplained test failures or incorrect behaviour that can be reproduced. It avoids unrelated refactors and feature work, and points to an architecture review if the cause is a flawed design decision.
