About this plugin
The plugin connects an AI coding agent to Google Firestore through an MCP server. It lets you explore schemas, query data, manage collections and documents, and generate code based on document structures using natural-language requests.
Use it when you need to inspect or update Firestore without switching to separate database tools. It requires a Google Cloud project with the Firestore API enabled, Node.js for running the server through npx, Application Default Credentials, and the required IAM permissions. Set FIRESTORE_PROJECT and optionally FIRESTORE_DATABASE; the database defaults to (default). The plugin is currently in beta.
