About this plugin
The plugin provides an MCP server for interacting with AlloyDB for PostgreSQL through an AI agent. It supports database lifecycle tasks, schema exploration, SQL queries, troubleshooting and generating code from table schemas.
Use it when working with an AlloyDB instance from Claude Code or another compatible agent. It requires Node.js, a Google Cloud project with the AlloyDB API enabled, Application Default Credentials, suitable IAM permissions and configuration for the project, region, cluster, instance and database. The plugin is currently in beta.
