About this skill
What it does. Combines RDAP and registrar WHOIS with DNS, reverse DNS, IP, ASN and historical sources to distinguish registration from service operation. It interprets dates, status, nameservers, mail and TXT records, applies confidence grades, records lookup timestamps and suggests investigation pivots.
When to use it. For phishing and brand-abuse investigations, domain disputes, vendor checks and infrastructure attribution. It keeps work passive by default; zone transfers and zone walking are treated as active and only appropriate in an authorised engagement.
