Terraform Engineer skill: what it does and how to install it

What it does. Designs reusable Terraform modules, configures providers and encrypted remote state, applies security and naming conventions, then runs formatting, validation, linting and plan reviews. It handles state drift, provider authentication and dependency errors, and requires explicit approval before applying a plan.

When to use it. For Terraform infrastructure across AWS, Azure or GCP, including module development, state migrations, provider setup, multi-environment workflows and infrastructure testing. It avoids local production state, hardcoded secrets, unpinned providers and unvalidated inputs.
