About this skill

What it does. Analyses an existing .NET project, creates a complete .template.config/template.json, preserves SDK, build and package conventions, and adds parameters, conditional content, constraints and post-actions. It validates the template, packages it for NuGet distribution, then installs, dry-runs, instantiates and builds it locally.

When to use it. Use it to create or refine a reusable dotnet new template from a project, or validate one before publishing. It does not cover discovering or using existing templates, or unrelated MSBuild issues.
