About this skill
What it does. Provides a checklist for spotting common Python mistakes, including scattered retries, hard-coded settings, mixed I/O and business logic, unsafe exception handling, blocking calls in async code and incomplete tests. It pairs each issue with a corrective pattern and a quick review checklist.
When to use it. During code review, debugging, refactoring or when setting team standards. For positive design patterns and architecture, use the separate Python design patterns guidance.
