About this skill

What it does. Guides packet capture with Wireshark, tcpdump and mitmproxy, then analyses traffic using tshark or Scapy to identify message boundaries, fields and protocol signatures. It covers replay, modification and fuzzing, and helps produce a protocol specification and validate it with a parser or generator.

When to use it. For security research, interoperability work or debugging network communication, especially when the protocol is proprietary or poorly documented.
