About this skill

What it does. Applies MSBuild patterns for conditional defaults, list composition, path normalisation, framework and OS checks, guard properties and fallback chains. Diagnoses last-write-wins behaviour across projects and shared files, including import-order issues and properties evaluated before TargetFramework.

When to use it. Use for concrete property defects in projects or Directory.Build.* hierarchies. Do not use for placement-only or import-only work, item operations, target structure, broad reviews without a property defect, or non-MSBuild tasks.
