About this skill
What it does. Guides migration from verbose MSBuild project files to SDK-style format by updating target frameworks, replacing packages.config with PackageReference, removing explicit file lists and assembly metadata, and consolidating shared settings. It also covers multi-targeting, desktop projects, test projects and central package management.
When to use it. For legacy .csproj or .vbproj files showing imports, ToolsVersion, explicit compile items or packages.config. It does not apply to projects already using SDK-style format, non-.NET build systems or .NET Framework projects that cannot migrate.
