About this skill
What it does. Reviews the project setup, plans modules and asynchronous flows, then implements and validates JavaScript with linting, performance checks and Jest tests. It covers browser APIs, Web Workers, Fetch, Node.js services and ESM or CommonJS modules, with guidance loaded by topic.
When to use it. For vanilla JavaScript applications, Promise-based flows, browser or Node.js performance work, and reviewing .js, .mjs or .cjs files. It does not cover projects that require older JavaScript patterns or synchronous Node.js I/O.
