About this skill
What it does. Analyses MSBuild incremental behaviour using binary logs or diagnostic text logs, comparing executed and skipped targets and the timestamps that made inputs stale. It guides fixes such as adding Inputs and Outputs, stabilising generated paths, registering FileWrites, and correcting Visual Studio Fast Up-to-Date Check settings.
When to use it. Use it when later builds are unexpectedly slow, rebuild unchanged files, or custom targets run every time. It is not for first-build performance, parallelism, evaluation-time slowness, or non-MSBuild build systems.
