About this skill

What it does. Configures and audits GKE platform security using gcloud commands and Kubernetes or GKE tools. It covers Secret Manager integration, RBAC hardening, Binary Authorization, database encryption, Security Posture, Shielded Nodes, GKE Sandbox, IAM roles and service-account access patterns.

When to use it. Use it for cluster control-plane and platform security configuration, including node and cluster-wide add-ons. It does not cover Workload Identity or workload-level controls such as SecretProviderClass, Pod Security Standards, network policies or gVisor pod settings.
