About this skill

What it does. Configures GKE logging and monitoring with gcloud, kubectl and Google Cloud tools, covering workload and control-plane metrics, Managed Prometheus, dashboards, alerts and cost controls. Diagnoses missing metrics, scrape failures, permissions, rule evaluation and PromQL or Grafana query issues without mutating live resources.

When to use it. Use for GKE monitoring, logging, metrics collection and Managed Prometheus troubleshooting. Do not use for local application logging frameworks or external APMs outside GKE.
