About this skill

What it does. Builds PromQL-based Terraform alert policies for GKE using the four golden signals, memory saturation and cluster health checks. It applies multi-window SLO burn rates, dynamic resource grouping, traffic disappearance handling and a plan-validation workflow, while identifying Tier 1 metrics and KSM-dependent rules.

When to use it. Use for GKE workloads, services and clusters monitored through Google Cloud Managed Service for Prometheus. It does not apply to standalone Compute Engine VMs or Cloud Run services, and requires permission before generating rules that incur kube-state-metrics ingestion costs.
