About this skill
What it does. Guides advanced Git operations for cleaning histories, moving selected commits, finding regressions, managing parallel branches and recovering lost work. It provides commands and safety practices for rebasing, cherry-picking, bisecting, worktrees, reflog, aborting operations and restoring changes.
When to use it. For complex branch workflows, clean pull requests, synchronising diverged branches or recovering from Git mistakes. Avoid rebasing shared public branches, force-pushing without --force-with-lease and bisecting with uncommitted changes.
