About this plugin

WhoDB lets Claude Code work with PostgreSQL, MySQL and MariaDB, SQLite, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, and other databases through an MCP server. It can inspect connections and schemas, build and run queries, compare schema metadata, load relationship information, audit data quality, explain queries, and suggest optimisations.

Use it when you need database analysis from Claude Code, including help from specialised agents for database analysis, query optimisation, and report generation. Configure connections with environment variables or the WhoDB CLI. The CLI can run through npx, Docker, a local binary, Homebrew, or a Go installation. Write operations require confirmation by default.
