About this plugin

The plugin provides a triage layer for startup legal work. It scans contracts for 12 common founder risks, including auto-renewal traps, uncapped indemnity, unclear IP ownership, missing DPAs and one-sided venues. It also analyses term sheets across 12 dimensions and gives a 0-100 founder-friendliness score.

Use it before sending agreements or financing terms to qualified counsel, especially when assessing IP, privacy and regulatory concerns across areas such as GDPR, HIPAA, fintech and the EU AI Act. It is standalone-installable, uses only the Python standard library and is not a substitute for licensed legal advice.
