About this plugin

The plugin investigates a named company, person, nonprofit or government organisation against a hypothesis supplied at intake. It gathers identity facts, a 12-month activity timeline, network and reputation signals, red flags, conversation hooks and a verdict showing whether the hypothesis is supported, partly supported, disproven or inconclusive.

It uses WebSearch and WebFetch alongside public APIs such as SEC EDGAR, GitHub and ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer. Optional LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Apollo, PitchBook or Similarweb MCPs can extend coverage. It needs bash, curl and Node.js with the docx library to generate an editable Word dossier, and records source provenance and supporting or disconfirming evidence.
